I dreamed I was in the very small house I lived in in college, or a house very similar. There were 4 other people in it, including a couple of older, larger women who seemed to be fighting, then one kissing the other on the cheek. I walked out of the house to get my car but couldn’t find it. I walked a short distance behind the back fences/yards and a couple of other guys/neighbors saw me and thought I was up to no good.
Dreams are often rich with symbolism and can reveal a lot about our subconscious mind. Here is a detailed interpretation of your dream:
Small House of College Days: The setting of your dream in a small house similar to the one you lived in during college could signify a return to past memories, experiences, or emotions associated with that time of your life. This might point to a period of personal growth, exploration, or learning. Your subconscious could be nudging you to recall certain lessons or experiences that are still relevant to your current life situation.
Presence of Other People: The presence of the four other people, including the older, larger women, might indicate influences or aspects of your life related to wisdom, authority, or nurturing. Their conflict, followed by a reconciliatory gesture (kissing on the cheek), suggests a tension or conflict in your life that may lead to resolution and understanding. This can represent an internal conflict within you, or a real-world relationship or situation you're witnessing or are part of.
Searching for Your Car: The act of searching for your car signifies a journey or path you might be on. Cars in dreams often symbolize our drive or motivation in life. The difficulty in finding your car suggests a current sense of being lost or uncertain about your direction or decisions. It could reflect a feeling of lack or gap in your current ambitions or plans.
Walking Behind Fences/Yards: Walking behind fences or through backyards may indicate your feelings of going 'off the beaten path' or exploring things that are less conventional. Fences can symbolize boundaries, limits, or separations, and walking behind them might suggest exploring hidden aspects of yourself or your life, possibly things you tend to keep out of public eye.
Neighbors' Suspicions: The neighbors thinking you were "up to no good" could symbolize a fear of being misunderstood or judged by others in your waking life. This reflects social anxiety or concern about how others perceive your actions or intentions, particularly when you are navigating off the main road of life.
Overall, this dream might be suggesting a period of reflecting on your past for guidance in the present, recognizing and reconciling inner or external conflicts, and exploring new directions despite concerns about external judgments. It might be beneficial to consider areas of your life where you feel lost or judged, and seek clarity or alignment with your true desires and values.
